Our History
The success story of Seasons Group in its present form began in 1962, when Haji Muhammed Bashir (Chairman Seasons Group) started flour milling business. The first project was Punjab Rice and Flour Mills located at Lahore. In 1968 National Flour & General Mills Limited located at Sheikhupura, near Lahore was inaugurated, which later became the identity of the group.
Haji Muhammed Bashir joined his family leather business at the age of 16 in the year 1945. He had to leave his leather business in Calcutta when he moved to Lahore due to the partition of the sub-continent and formation of Pakistan. After doing trading of a variety of items for some 5 to 6 years, he started his grain trading business in 1954 and then rice milling in 1957, when he bought Gohar Rice Mills. Both Punjab Rice and Flour Mills and Gohar Rice Mills were disposed off in 1977 and 1995 respectively.
The foundation stone of Seasons Group was laid in the form of National Flour & General Mills in 1968. Today Seasons Group has significant presence in the food industry, starting from wheat flour milling, poultry and cattle feed, breeder and broiler farming, meat processing plant and edible oil extraction.
